tion to Article 49, of the Code of Public General Laws of
the State of Maryland, title 'Interest and Usury, ' sub-title
'Interest on Loans on Chattels, ' to be known as 'Section
7, ' of said Article 49. "

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 19, of Article 56, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title 'License, ' sub-title 'Brokers. '"

Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize certain Mutual
Fire Insurance Companies of the State of Maryland, to
re-issue in other companies the whole or part of risks
assumed by said Mutual Fire Insurance Companies. "

Mr. Duncan from Committee on Temperance, reported
unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the issuing of
any license for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors
or laager beer within three thousand feet of the public
school, situated at the junction of the Liberty Pike and
Garrison Avenue, in Baltimore city; and to prevent the
sale of intoxicating drinks within the above limits. "

ported unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to appropriate the sum of
twenty-one thousand four hundred and forty dollars and
fifty-six cents, and to refund the same to the appropria-

Adjutant-General's office, and for the maintenance, equip-
ment and discipline of the land forces of the militia for
the fiscal year ending September 30, 1900, "
