House bill entitled "An Act to add additional sections
to Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Talbot County, ' sub-title 'Justices of the Peace and Con-
stables, ' to be designated as 'Sections 117 A, 117 B, 117
C, 117 D, 117 E,: 117 F, 117 G, 117 H, 117 I. ' "
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED
By Select Committee:
At the end of section 117 A, add the words: "Provided,
however, that nothing contained in this Act shall preclude
the said police justice from trying criminal cases which
arise in any other district of said county if the same shall
be properly brought before him. "
After the word "defaulters" in section 117 F, add the
words: "Provided, that ail the provisions of this Act re-
lating to the quarterly returns to be made by said police
justice, and all the penalties and forfeitures imposed on
said police justice for! failure to perform the duties im-
posed upon him by this Act or by any other law of the
State of Maryland shall be applicable to all other justices
of the peace having criminal jurisdiction in Talbot
county. "
