House bill entitled "An Act to add three new sections
to Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Harford Comity, ' under the new sub-title 'Auctioneers, '
to follow section. 20, and to be known as 'Sections 20 A,
20 B and 20 C. ' "

Mr. Feldmeyer, from Select Committee, reported un-
favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of a Board of Visitors for the Anne Arundel
county jail, and defining the powers and duties of said
board. "

Mr. Wolfe moved to substitute the bill for the unfavor-
able report,

Which motion as rejected.

The unfavorable report was then adopted.

The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:

House bill entitled "An Act to provide for the issue
of five hundred thousand dollars Maryland State bonds,
for the purpose of erecting a new State Building in the
city of Annapolis, and for the improvement of other
State institutions, said bonds to be issued at a rate not
higher than three and one-half per centum interest per
annum, and to provide a sinking fund for the payment
of said bonds. "

Endorsed: "Read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays. "

Also delivered.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add certain additional
sections to Article 77, of the Code of the Public General
Laws, to come in after section 17, to be known as 'Sec-
tion 17 A, 17 B and 17 C, ' and to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 71, of said Article, "
