AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

On line 2 of section 2, strike out the word "one" where
it first occurs in said line, and substitute the word "five. "

And in line 3 of said section 2, strike out the word
"ten" and substitute word "fifty. "

And on line 6 of said section 2, strike out the word
"ten" and substitute the word "fifty. "

At the end of section 6, insert the following:

"And provided that before the said company shall
contract any of its works or railways within the limits
of Baltimore or Harford counties, it shall first obtain the
consent of the County Commissioners of said county. "

Which were severally read and adopted, and

The bill was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 2, of
chapter 461, of the Acts of 1898, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Central States Banking and Trust Company,
and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to fur-
ther amend the charter of said Central States Banking
and Trust Company, providing for the change of name of
said corporation and the number of its directors and the
election of a treasurer. "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

On line 5, section 2, strike ou1 the word "five, " and sub-
stitute the word "three. "

Amend by striking out "section 6, " and substituting the
following:

"Section 6. And be it further enacted, That the stock-
holders of said corporation shall be liable to the amount
of their respective share or shares of stock in said cor-
poration for all its debts and liabilities upon note, bill or
otherwise.

"Sec. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. "

The bill read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to regulate the hours of
labor of employees of the street railway companies in the
city of Cumberland. "
