Which was read and referred to Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Lehmayer submitted the following order.

Ordered by the House of Delegates, That in view of
the crowded condition of the files, that on and after
Thursday, March 29th, 1900, the time of debate be limit-
ed to five minutes, and that no member shall be allowed
to give another his time.

Which was referred to the Committee on Rules.
And said Committee reported favorably thereon.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Latrobe, from Committee on Ways and Means, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to add a new section to
Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'License, ' to follow section 81 B. and to be designated as
'Section 81 C. ' "

Which was read a first time.

Also, favorably, with request that the same be sent to
Judiciary Committee,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 146 D, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, entitled 'Revenue and Taxes, ' as said section is en-
acted and added to said Article 8, by chapter 275 and
chapter 501, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its January session, in the year 1898,
and to re-enact said section 146 D, with amendment. "

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Judiciary.

Mr. Knott, from Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably, with proposed amendment,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Garrett
County Telephone Company. "
