REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Knott, from Committee on Corporations, reported
unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to amend section 83 of Ar-
ticle 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title 'Dor-
chester county. ' sub-title 'Cambridge, ' as amended by
chapter 311 of the Acts passed at the January session
1890, and chapter 499 of the Acts passed at the January
session 1892, and chapter 466 of the Acts passed at the
January session 1894, by adding three additional sections
thereto, to be known as '83 B, 83 C and 83 D. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Also favorably, with proposed amendments.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 2 of chap-
ter 461 of the Acts of 1898, entitled 'An Act to incorpo-
rate the Central States Banking and Trust Company, ' and
to re-enact the same with amendments, and also to fur-
ther amend the charter of said Central States Banking
and Trust Company, providing for the change of name
of said corporation and the number of its directors and
the election of a treasurer. "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED
By Corporations Committee:

On line 5, section 2, strike out the word "five, " and
substitute the word "three. "

Amend by striking out "section 6, " and substituting
the following:

"Section 6. And be it further enacted, That the stock-
holders of said corporation shall be liable to the amount
of their respective share or shares of stocks in said cor-
poration for all its debts and liabilities upon note, bill
or otherwise.

"Sec. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage. "
