Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 8 of
chapter 317, Acts 1896, entitled an Act to create a treas-
urer for Howard county, and to provide for the collection
of taxes therein, and to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments sections 5, 7 and 10 of said chapter. "

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Truitt, of Worcester, from Select Committee, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 70 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, January
session 1884, entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Bishopville, Worcester county. "

Also favorably,

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 96 A and
96 B of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
St. Mary's County, ' sub-title 'Oysters, ' and to re-enact the
same with amendments. "

Senate bill entitled "An Act to encourage the estab-
lishment and development of manufactures and manu-
facturing industries in Worcester county. "

the trustees of the poor of Worcester county, to sell and
convey certain real estate in said county called 'Roches-
ter and Purnell's Outlet, ' and upon which is now located
the county almshouse. "
