Mr. Truitt, (by request) submitted the following order
Ordered, That Wm F. Hollidayoke, be paid $2. 50 per

day, for 65 days for carpenter work in the House of

Delegates and committee rooms.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

Mr. Lednum, submitted the following order.

Ordered, That Edward F. Meehan, sergeant at-arms,
be paid the sum of $50 for expenses and mileage in con-
tested election case of Darr vs. Merrick.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Lehmayer, from Judiciary Committee, reported
favorably by majority of committee,

House bill entitled "An Act to protect claims of laborers
and material of men on public works and to add three
additional sections to Article 63, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title 'Mechanics' Liens, ' to come in after
section 53, and t, o be known as 'Sections 53 A, 53 B and
53 C, ' in said Article. "

The following minority report was submitted;

Unfavorable report by a minority of the House Judi-
ciary Committee on House bill printed No. 388.

Which unfavorable report of the minority was adopted

Mr. Collins, from Committee on Claims reported favor-
ably, the following orders:

Ordered, That Jas. W. Owens be paid the sum of $50
