On motion of Mr. Linthicum, of Dorchester,
Mr. John R. Pattison came forward and was sworn in
as a Member of the House of Delegates, from Dorchester
county.

Mr. Mann, moved a reconsideration of the vote on the
order to send the Journals to the newspapers in the
State.

Mr. Mitchell moved to lay the motion on the table.

A division was called for and the motion to lay on the
table was lost.

The Chair then ruled that the whole matter was out
of order, as the motion was not made within the time
limited by the Rules of the House.

Mr. Sanford appealed from the Chair, bat the appeal
was not sustained.
