least five days before the sale, in good faith notify or
cause to be notified personally or by registered mail,
each of the seller's creditors of whom the purchaser has
knowledge, or can with the exercise of reasonable dili-
gence acquire knowledge of said proposed sale, and of
the said cost price of the merchandise to be sold, and of
the price proposed to be paid therefor by the purchaser.

The seller shall at least live days before such sale fully
and truthfully answer in writing each and all of said in-
quiries.

10. Except as expressly provided in the preceding sec-
tion, nothing therein contained, nor any Act thereunder,
shall change or affect the present rules of evidence or the
present presumptions of law.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
and be in force from the date of its passage.

House bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the shooting
of wild fowl between the tenth day of May and the
tenth day of October, in the waters of the Great Chop-
tank river and its tributaries, lying wholly within the
limits of Trappe District, in Talbot county, Md. "

grossed for a third reading.

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 31, 32,
33, 36, 37, 42, 44, 45, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 67, 68 and 82, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Revenue and Taxes, ' so far as the same relates
to Talbot county, and to repeal sections 32, 33 and 34,
of Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Talbot County, ' sub-title 'County Commissioners, ' and
to re-enact the following sections in lieu thereof, pro-
viding for the election of a county treasurer for Talbot
county, and defining the duties and powers of said
treasurer. ''
