of Registry and upon his identity being established to
the satisfaction of a majority of the Board of Registry
he shall have a right to require the said Board of Regis-
try to make, alter or strike out any entry in the column
headed 'party affiliation' opposite hid name on the regis-
tries. It shall be the duty of the Board of Registry. to
enter in the column headed 'remarks' the fact that such
entry was made, altered or stricken out and the date
thereof.

"Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the following fifteen
additional sections be and the same hereby are added to
Article 33, of Public General Laws, the said fifteen new
sections to constitute a new sub-title of said Article,
which sub-title shall be known as 'Primary Elections, '

and which sub-title and its constituent sections shall fol-
low immediately after section 151 of said Article, and be
known as 'Sections 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159,
160, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166 and 167, respectively,
and which sections shall read as follows:

"152. All primary elections hereafter held in the State
by any political party, which at the Presidential election
next preceding the said primary election polled 20 per
cent, or upwards of the total vote cast in this State for
electors of President and Vice-President of the United
States shall he held subject to the provisions of this Art-
icle.

"153. At any primary election which may be held in
the city of Baltimore, or in any of the counties of this
State at any time subsequent to the close of the next
general registration, which may bo held in the said city
or in such county, all persons shall be entitled to Tote
whose names are enrolled on the registries of the pre-
cincts or precinct or precincts, district or dis-
tricts in which or at the polls for which they may
offer to vote as affiliated with the political party whose
primary election it is, and no person whose name is not
so enrolled upon said registries shall be entitled to vote
at such primary election.

"154. Until the close of the next general registration
in any county which may be held after the passage of
this Act, it shall be the duty of the Board of Supervisors
of Election of any county, to prepare primary election
