amendment, law or other public act or proposition sub-
mitted to vote by law, and wherever the said word 'elec-
tion' is used in this Article in creating or defining any
offense or in prescribing the punishment of such offense
or the procedure in the trial for such offense, the
said word shall be construed to include primary
elections, so that everything which it is by this
Article declared to be unlawful to do or to leave
undone at or in connection with or in relation to a
general election shall be equally unlawful when done or
left undone at or in connection with or in relation to any
primary election held by any political party entitled to
nominate its candidates by a primary election or by a
convention, and such act of omission or commission shall
be punishable when done at or in connection with or in
relation to any primary election in the same manner as
such act of commission or omission would have been
punishable if done at or in connection with or in relation
to any general election. The word 'precinct' as used in
this Article shall be construed to mean an election dis-
trict in a county or an election precinct in such district
should such election district be so divided into election,
precincts, and when such election districts are so divided
into election precincts, then to mean such election pre-
cincts, and in the city of Baltimore to mean the election
precinct into which the ward is divided for the
purpose of a general election. In computing the
time f or notices to be given under this Article, Sunday
shall be included, except when the day on which
said notice should be given should happen to fall on Sun-
day, in which event the same shall be given on the Mon-
day, following, the day of giving the notice and the day
of registration or election shall be excluded.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted. That a new section be, and
the same hereby is added to the said Article 33, under
the sub-title 'Intermediate Registration, ' said section to
be known as 'Section 30 A, " and to follow immediately
after section 30, and to read as follows:

30 A. At any intermediate registration subsequent to
the close of the next general registration, which shall be
held in any county in this State after the enactment of this
law, any registered voter may appear before the Board
