NEGATIVE—None,

Mr. Wolfe moved that the report of the Committee on
Election in the Pattison-Andrews contest, and all subse-
quent proceedings, be spread on the Journal.

Which motion was adopted.

Mr. Bramble, from the Committee on Federal Rela-
tions, submitted an unfavorable report on the following
order:

Ordered, That whereas the Hon. Wm. J. Bryan, of
Nebraska, the recognized leader of Democracy in the
United States, is to make an address in the city of Balti-
more on Saturday next, the 20th inst., under the auspices
of the Maryland Democratic Association, therefore, as a
mark of respect on the part of the Maryland Legislature,
that this Body extend to him an invitation to address
them at any time he may select during his visit to the
State of Maryland.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Latrobe, from the Committee on Ways and
Means, submitted the following

REPORT:

The Committee on Ways and Means, to whom was re-
ferred the favorable Report of the Printing Committee,
to send Journals to the newspapers of the State, report
favorably on the same, with the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Whereas,. We find this service has heretofore cost the
State $1, 200, that being the amount paid to the former
State Printers, we herewith recommend that Wm. J. C.
Dulany Co., State Printer, be directed to perform the
same work; and that the sum of $1, 000 be paid therefor.

The question recurring upon the adoption of the
report.
