REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.

Mr. Staley, from Committee on Education, reported
unfavorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments chapter 520, of the Acts of 1898, entitled
an Act requiring the State Board of Education and the
Board of Public School Commissioners of Baltimore city
to furnish the Public schools of this State with a text
book upon Civil Government in addition to the text
books now furnished and to have the same taught
therein. "

Which unfavorable report was adopted.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 49, Article 77, Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title 'Public Education, ' sub-title 'Teachers. ' ''

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Latrobe, from Committee on Game and Fish, re-
ported favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 40, of
Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Frederick County, ' sub-title 'Birds and Game, '
as repealed and re-enacted by chapter 102 of the Acts of
1890, and to re-enact the same with amendments. "

Which was read a first time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled "An Act to prevent the killing of
foxes in Kent county, being pursued. by dogs. "

Which was read a first time.

Also, favorably, with amendment,

House bill entitled "An Act to restrict the setting of
steel traps, spring traps and snares, and to prevent the
destruction of foxes at their dens or brooding places,
during certain seasons of the year. "
