The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered
the following message:

House bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments section 1, of Article 17, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title 'Clerks of Courts, ' and to re-enact
the same with amendments so far as the same applies to
Talbot county. "

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

On lines 4 and 5, of section 1, strike out the words "so
far as the same applies to Talbot county. "

In line 20, section 1, strike out the words "Talbot
county, " and insert after the word "fur, " in line 20, sec-
tion 1, the following:

' The respective counties or the Supreme Bench of
Baltimore city, as the case may be. "

In lines 3 and 4 of title, strike out the words "far as
the same applies to Talbot county. "
