AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In line 11 of section 1 of engrossed bill strike cut the
words "to be sworn" after the word "account. "

Also,

In line 7 of section 2 of engrossed bill strike out the
words "the second" and insert in lieu thereof the word
"any. "

Also,

At the end of section 2 of the engrossed bill add the
words "provided the said institution shall have received
an appropriation prior to the passage of this Act. And
the Comptroller is hereby authorized in his discretion for
the purpose of informing himself of the expenditures of
said institution, to cause an examination of their financial
affairs and management to be made. "
