amendments, chapter 527, of the Acts of 1898, entitled
an Act to repeal chapter 448, of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1894, entitled an Act to appropriate the
fines and forfeitures imposed by the Circuit Court for
Baltimore county and by Justices of the Peace thereof
to the treasurer of the Board of County School Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county, for the use of the public '
schools of said county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments. "

Which was read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The following Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, originating in the House of Delegates, were pre-
sented to the Governor for his approval this day, at 3
o'clock P. M.

Chapter 103. "An Act to provide for an additional jus-
tice of the peace in and for the eighth election district
in Carroll county. "

Chapter 104. "An Act to amend sections 1 and 2 of
chapter 344, of the. Acts of 1896, entitled 'An Act to in-
corporate the Fraternal Trust and Banking Company, so
that the corporate title of the said corporation shall here-
after be the 'City Trust and Banking Company, ' and
further amending said Act so as to authorize the election
ef twenty-five directors or less. "

Chapter 105. "An Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Washington county to levy a
sum of money to refund to David Wolfs heir's of said
county, certain taxes erroneously paid by them. "

Chapter 106. "An Act to repeal section 332 of Article
22, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
'Washington County, ' sub-title 'Roads, ' and to re-enact
the same with amendments. "

Chapter 107. ''An Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Washington county, to levy a
sum of money to refund to Daniel W. Richard of said
county, certain taxes erroneously paid by him. "
