On motion of Mr. Graeff, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Frenzel be excused from to-day's
session on account of sickness.
Mr. Hanson submitted the following order:
The Committee on Elections being busy counting the
ballots in the contested Dorchester county case, it is
therefore ordered, That the Committee on Elections be
excused from attendance at to-day's session.
Which was adopted.
LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Choate,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the
use of the Baltimore city passenger railway tracks by
any suburban railway company now existing, or that may
hereafter be incorporated. "
On motion of Mr. Sanford,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act making an
appropriation in support of the Maryland Prisoners' Aid
Association. "
On motion of Mr. Waller,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 52,
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
' Justices of the Peace, ' sub-title ' Process and Practice, '
by adding a new section thereto, to be designated ' Sec-
tion 29 A, ' to come in after section 29 of said article, and
to provide for a removal of causes from one justice of the
peace to another within the same jurisdiction. "
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections, to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 62 of Article 33, of the Code
of Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Elections, '
sub-title 'Elections, ' as the same was re-enacted by chap-
