The question then recurring upon the adoption of the
order,

And while the consideration was pending,

Mr. Walbach moved that the order be referred to the
Printing Committee to report to-morrow.

A division was called for, and the question was decided
in the affirmative.

On motion of Mr. Waller, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Bennett be excused from to-day's
session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Dunn, it was

Ordered, That Mr. George L. Brown be excused on ac-
count of important business.

On motion of Mr. Proctor, it was

Ordered, That the Committee on Public Buildings be
excused from attendance at all sessions for the remainder
of this week.

On motion of Mr. Hutton, it was

Ordered, That Dr. Deets be excused from to-day's ses-
sion on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Feldmeyer, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Phelps be excused from to-day's
session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Cover, it was

Ordered, That Adoniram J. Robinson of Baltimore city,
be excused from attendance of this session on account of
