On motion of Mr. Sandman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled "An Act providing for
the erection and operation of a rock crushing plant by
and under the supervision of the board of directors and
the officers of the Maryland House of Correction, and
providing for the sale of the crushed stone product to
the counties and other municipalities of the State. "
On motion of Mr. Waters,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to amend Article 93. of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title 'Tes-
tamentary Law, ' by adding a new sub-section to said
Article under the title 'Fees on estates under five hun-
dred dollars, ' said section to follow section 80 of said
Article, and to be designated as 'Section SO A. ' "
On motion of Mr. Long,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to make the fee charged
for the service of any stallion or jackass, whose owner is
duly licensed to stand the same, a lieu on the mare
served, and on her progeny from said service, until the
fee is paid. "
On motion of Mr. Walsh,
Leave was granted to the Carroll county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to prohibit the sale of
spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer at any
place in Carroll county within one and one-half miles of
Bethel Church of God, near Carrolltonian, Carroll
county. "
On motion of Mr. Mitchell,
Leave was granted to the Harford county delegation
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to change the name
and to amend the charter of the Smith-Rouse and Web-
ster Company of Harford county. "
On motion of Mr. Sandman,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 146
and 149 of Article 33 of the Code of Public General
