funded stock, and also an account current of interest and principal received on said stock to the thirty first of
October, 1800; which was read.
    On motion, Leave given to bring in a bill to revive and aid the proceedings of the orphans court of Saint-Mary's
county.  ORDERED, That Mr. Leigh, Mr. Neale and Mr. Millard, be a committee to prepare and bring
in the same.
    The report on the petition of sundry inhabitants of Dorchester, was read the second time, concurred with, and
leave given to bring in a bill pursuant thereto.  ORDERED, That the committee appointed on said petition prepare
and bring in the same.
    A petition from James Graham, of Charles county, praying the clerk of the said county may be authorised to
record a deed from Francis Neale to the said James Graham, was preferred, read, and referred to Mr. McPherson,
Mr. Stuart and Mr. Jones, to consider and report thereon.
    A petition from John Bluebock, of Allegany county, praying an act may pass authorising a sale of a lot of
land, No. 3383, in said county, was preferred, read, and referred to Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Cresap, of Michael,
and Mr. Simkins, to consider and report thereon.
    A petition from Christian Musselman, of Allegany county, praying an act may pass to correct an error in a
plot of land, distinguished by No. 3983, was preferred, read, and referred to the committee on the petition of
John Bluebock, to consider and report thereon.
    Mr. Geoghegan, from the committee, delivers to the speaker the following report:
    THE committee to whom was referred the petition of John Sites, of Washington county, report, that they
have taken the same into consideration, and find the facts therein stated to be true, and are of opinion the prayer
of the petitioner is reasonable, and ought to be granted.

    Mr. Geoghegan, from the committee, delivers to the speaker the following report:
    THE committee to whom was referred the petition of Devalt Glockner of Washington county, report, that
they have taken the same into consideration, and believe the facts therein stated to be true, and are of opinion
the prayer of the petitioner is reasonable, and ought to be granted.

    A petition from Eliphaz Douglass, of Frederick county, praying the state to release her right to certain lands
escheated, was preferred, read, and referred to Mr. Cramphin, Mr. Estep and Mr. Kemp, to consider and report
thereon.
    A petition from Thomas Johnson Beatty, of Montgomery county, praying an act of insolvency, was preferred,
read, and referred to Mr. Beall, Mr. Smith, of Baltimore, Mr. Mercer, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Lloyd, to consider
and report thereon.
    Petitions from William Allein, of Calvert county, Josiah Johnson and John Roche, of Kent county, Roger
Robbins and William Messer Smith, of the city of Baltimore, William Smith, of Kent county, Benjamin McCoy,
of Frederick county, Alexander Coulter, Adrian Valck and Christian Mayer, and William Shanks, of the city
of Baltimore, praying acts of insolvency, were preferred, read, and referred to the committee appointed on
petitions of a similar nature.
    A petition from George Hoffman, and others, of Allegany county, praying an act may pass authorising a trustee
to dispose of certain property belonging to a certain Elizabeth Yantz, was preferred, read, and referred to Mr.
Simkins, Mr. J. Cresap and Mr. Gebhart, to consider and report thereon.
    A petition from sundry inhabitants of Frederick county, praying an act may pass for laying off a road below a
point of rocks in the Catoctin mountain, on the Patowmack river, by captain Whiteneck's tavern, in a streight
line by or near Lact's and the widow Kemp's mills to intersect the main road that leads from the city of Washington,
nearly opposite to the barracks, and that the same may be considered a public road, was preferred, read,
and referred to Mr. Kemp, Mr. Hawkins and Mr. Nelson, to consider and report thereon.
    A petition of sundry inhabitants of Frederick county, counter to the petition of sundry inhabitants of said
county respecting a road, was preferred, read, and referred to the committee on the petition to which it is
counter.
    A petition from Richard Butler, of Frederick county, stating, that he acted as deputy-quartermaster at
Frederick-town, and praying to be allowed depreciation of pay, was preferred, read, and referred to Mr. Nelson,
Mr. Hawkins and Mr. Wilson, to consider and report thereon.
    On motion, Leave given to bring in a bill to revive the levy court of Baltimore county.  ORDERED, That Mr.
Smith, of Baltimore, Mr. Worthington and Mr. Love, be a committee to prepare and bring in the same.
    On motion, Leave given to bring in a bill to revive and aid the proceedings of the orphans court of Talbot
county.  ORDERED, That Mr. Edmondson, Mr. Lloyd and Mr. Denny, be a committee to prepare and bring in
the same.
    Mr. Smith, of Baltimore, from the committee, delivers to the speaker a bill, entitled, An act to revive the
levy court of Baltimore county; which was read the first and second time by especial order, and passed.
