The report on the petition of sundry inhabitants of
Dorchester, was read the second time, concurred with, and
leave given to bring in a bill pursuant thereto. ORDERED, That the
committee appointed on said petition prepare

A petition from James Graham, of Charles county,
praying the clerk of the said county may be authorised to
record a deed from Francis Neale to the said James Graham, was preferred,
read, and referred to Mr. McPherson,
Mr. Stuart and Mr. Jones, to consider and report thereon.
A petition from John Bluebock, of Allegany county, praying
an act may pass authorising a sale of a lot of
land, No. 3383, in said county, was preferred, read, and referred to Mr.
Montgomery, Mr. Cresap, of Michael,
and Mr. Simkins, to consider and report thereon.
A petition from Christian Musselman, of Allegany county,
praying an act may pass to correct an error in a
plot of land, distinguished by No. 3983, was preferred, read, and referred
to the committee on the petition of
John Bluebock, to consider and report thereon.

Sites, of Washington county, report, that they
have taken the same into consideration, and find the facts therein stated
to be true, and are of opinion the prayer

A petition from sundry inhabitants of Frederick
county, praying an act may pass for laying off a road below a
point of rocks in the Catoctin mountain, on the Patowmack river, by captain
Whiteneck's tavern, in a streight
line by or near Lact's and the widow Kemp's mills to intersect the main
road that leads from the city of Washington,
nearly opposite to the barracks, and that the same may be considered a
public road, was preferred, read,
and referred to Mr. Kemp, Mr. Hawkins and Mr. Nelson, to consider and report
thereon.
A petition of sundry inhabitants of Frederick county,
counter to the petition of sundry inhabitants of said
county respecting a road, was preferred, read, and referred to the committee
on the petition to which it is
counter.
A petition from Richard Butler, of Frederick county,
stating, that he acted as deputy-quartermaster at
Frederick-town, and praying to be allowed depreciation of pay, was preferred,
read, and referred to Mr. Nelson,
Mr. Hawkins and Mr. Wilson, to consider and report thereon.
On motion, Leave given to bring in a bill to revive
the levy court of Baltimore county. ORDERED, That Mr.
Smith, of Baltimore, Mr. Worthington and Mr. Love, be a committee to prepare
and bring in the same.
On motion, Leave given to bring in a bill to revive
and aid the proceedings of the orphans court of Talbot
county. ORDERED, That Mr. Edmondson, Mr. Lloyd and Mr. Denny, be
a committee to prepare and bring in
the same.
Mr. Smith, of Baltimore, from the committee, delivers
to the speaker a bill, entitled, An act to revive the
levy court of Baltimore county; which was read the first and second time
