money has been paid, with interest, into the treasury of the western
shore; they therefore submit the following
resolution:
RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore be
and he is hereby authorised to pay James Lytle, of
Harford county, or his order, the sum of fifty-four pounds, being the value
of nine acres, the deficiency in a
certain purchase of confiscated property sold by the commissioners, together
with six per cent. interest on that
sum from the ninth day of May, seventeen hundred and ninety-four, which
deficiency has been occasioned by
another tract running through and dividing said land purchased as aforesaid,
and now in the possession of a certain
Robert Saunders; provided the chancellor shall be of opinion, and shall
so certify, after an investigation of
the case, that the title of the said Robert Saunders to the tract or
field which runs foul of the land contained in
the deed from the chancellor to said Lytle was paramount to the title under
the said Principio company, and
did bar the same at the time of the sale made to Nathaniel Ramsey by the
commissioners.
All which is submitted.

Mr. Worthington, from the committee, delivers to the
speaker the following report:
THE committee to whom was referred the petition of Edmund
Stansbury, of Baltimore county, report, that
they have taken the same into consideration, and finding the facts therein
stated to be true, beg leave to recommend
the following resolution:
RESOLVED, That the treasurer of the western shore be
and he is hereby authorised and directed to pay to Edmund
Stansbury, or his order, the sum of sixty pounds eighteen shillings and
nine-pence, with an interest of five
per cent. thereon from the twentieth day of March, seventeen hundred and
eighty-one, until paid, out of the
first unappropriated monies in the treasury.

THE committee to whom was referred the petition of sundry
inhabitants of Frederick and Baltimore counties,
report, that they have taken the same into consideration, and are of opinion
that the same is reasonable,
and ought to be granted; they therefore recommend that an act pass agreeably
to the prayer of said petitioners.

Mr. Nelson, from the committee, delivers to the speaker
a bill, entitled, An act for the relief of Henry
Disherd, of Frederick county; which was read the first and second time
by especial order, passed, and sent to
the senate by the clerk.
The report on the petition of sundry inhabitants of
Prince-George's county was read the second time, concurred
with, and leave given to bring in a bill pursuant thereto. ORDERED,
That the committee appointed on
said petition prepare and bring in the same.
The bill to prevent the going at large of geese and
swine in Creager's-town, in Frederick county, was read
the second time by especial order, passed, and sent to the senate by the
clerk.
The clerk of the senate delivers the following resolution:
BY the SENATE, December 10, 1800.
RESOLVED, That Frederick Green, printer to the state,
be directed to print, with the laws of this session, the
act of congress, entitled, An act to establish an uniform system of bankruptcy
throughout the United States.
