of Baltimore, Alexander Kennedy

of Montgomery county,
have given notice.
Your committee further report, that it is stated
to the committee that the following persons, to wit: John G.
Konecke, Frederick Kramer, James McCormick, are not citizens of this state;
and that there are counter petitions
to the following persons, to wit: John Roche, of Kent county, John
S. Kingsmore, of Baltimore county, Robert
Green, of Dorchester county, William Boone, of Caroline county, John G.
Konecke, Frederick Kramer, Richard
Gittings and Lambert Smith, Henry Worthington and Henry Troupe, Adrian
Valck and Christian Mayer,
and Robert Ross, of the city of Baltimore. The committee are of opinion
a law ought to pass for their relief.

THE house met. Present the same members as
on yesterday. The proceedings of yesterday were read.
The supplement to an act, entitled, An act to establish
a bank, and incorporate the subscribers thereto,
the bill relating to the public wharf and ferry at Chester-town, in Kent
county, and the bill for the relief of
John Charles Francois Chirac, were sent to the senate by the clerk.
Mr. McPherson, from the committee, delivers to the speaker
a bill, entitled, An act for the relief of sundry
insolvent debtors; which was read the first time and ordered to lie on
the table.
The bill for the benefit of Henry Joseph Stier, of Prince-George's
county, was read the second time by
especial order, passed, and sent to the senate by the clerk.
The report on the petition of the trustees of the poor
of Calvert county was read the second time, concurred
with, and leave given to bring in a bill pursuant thereto. ORDERED,
That the committee appointed on said
petition prepare and bring in the same.
The report on the petition of Frederick Saler was
read the second time, concurred with, and leave given to
bring in a bill pursuant thereto. ORDERED, That the committee appointed
on said petition prepare and bring in
the same.
