Came John Gelly and desired to have the boy called John Morris now Servy: to William
Wheatly untill he came of age the said Wheatley giveing under his hand & Seale that
he was willing to part with the said boy Called John Morris aforesd: being as followeth //
This is to acquaint the Worshipfull Court that the boy John Morris is willing to Serve the
Remainder of his time with John Gelly and being the boy is willing to goe I am ffree and
Willing that he Should and to noe other man whereunto I Sett my hand and Seale this
Eight day of december in 1688 Wm Wheatly Seale

Anne Connyway Upon wch: it was Ordered that John Gelly aforesaid have the boy
Called John Morris aforesaid Son to Jenckin Morris late of this
County deced untill the said John Morris attaine to the yeares or age of Twenty one yeares
and that the Said John Gelly give him a Cow Calfe next yeare as alsoe to learne him the
said John Morris to read and bring him up in the feare of God wch: he promissed in Court

The peticon of George Noble for the Creyers place and granted him &a: - - - - -

Ordered that ffrancis Jenckins Sheriff of this County take into his Custody John Kemp
and him safe keepe untill Securitty given as well for his behavior: as for his appearance
next Court &ca:-

Came William Elgate and made appeare to this Court by the Oath of William Harper
taken before mr: Thomas Newbold one of his Lordpps Justices for this County that the Twenty
daies worke due from his ffather William Elgate late of this County deced were paid
vizt: that the said worke was performed on his Lordpps high ways by one Thomas =
Midglee upon the accot: of the said William Elgate deced - &a-
