Now here at this day vizt: the 12th: day of June in the xiiiith: yeare of the Domion of the Rt:
honoble: Charles &t: annog Domi 1689 Came the said Elizabeth Colebourne to the barr & the
Jurors of that Jury likewise Came vizt: John West William Demcem William Waller Wm:
Richardson Hope Taylor Samuell Marchment Thomas Morris John Jones Peter Whaples -
Walter Talbort John Barker and Matthew Scarbrough who being Elected Treyed & Sworne
to say the Truth in the premisses upon their Oathes Doo say Wee of the petit Jury doo finde
Elizabeth Colebourne guilty of Matter of fact =
Whereupon it was Ordered by this Court that Josias Seward and Samuell Collins both
of this County doe Examin what Cloaths the said Elizabeth Colebourne had belonging to the
Orphants of the said John Reed deced and that after Examinacon thereof soe had & taken
And the same Vallued & appraized as to them shall seem meet & Convenient to make report
Thereof to the Justices of the Next County Court to be holden the second Tuesday in August
Next // And it is further Ordered that the said Elizabeth Colebourne give & sufficient
Security as well for her behaviour as for her appeareance every Court dureing pleasure -
Came William Colebourne Currier the husband of the aforesd: Eliza: Colebourne John -
Bratton & Hope Taylor & in Open Court did acknowledge themselves to stand justly -
Indebted unto the Rt: honoble: the Lord propry: Vizt: William Colebourne aforesd: for his said
wife in the Sume of Thirty pounds Sterling John Bratton & Hope Taylor each in ffifteen
Pounds sterling apeice to be Leavied on their goods & Chattles Lands & Tennements
for the use of the Lord propry: aforesd: - - - - - - - - - -
The Condicon of this Obligation is Such that if the Abovesd: Elizabeth Colebourne be of
The good behavior: and Abeareance and make her personall appeareance every Court dureing
pleasure and if that her husband Wm: Colebourne aforesd: pay all officers ffees due from
his said wife that then the Above Obligation to be Void Otherwise to remaine in
full force & vertue &t:
