Whereas Annacockeson y Emperour of Nanticoke had made a propasicon to mr James Jones
and Christopher Nutter yt in Leiw of a considerable quantity of Matchcoats to come to the
Said Emperour from persons Settled upon land in Nanticoke and places adjacent according as
people usually give him att Seating where y Emperour claimes Some prerogative which
the Said Emperour would bee content to reduce to a smaller value then hath been pro
mised & usually is given provided they would advance itt for him y Said mr: James Jones
reporting y Same to y Cort: who thought good to Sumon y persons being above thirty to pro
pose y Same to advance every one a Little of which John Squire gave one Matchcoat
