Sommersett Ss Thomas Cox was summoned to answer unto

	32			  Mathewe Stevens in A plea of Trespas upon y Case

		And whereupon the said Mathewe by his Attourney Edward

		Jones saith That he the said Thomas became Indebted unto

		him the said Mathewe in the full and Just quantity of

		seaven hundred Twenty five pounds of good sound

		marchantable tobacco in Caske being Due to him the said -

		Mathew for severall goods and marchandizes That he

		the said Thomas Did take up of him the said Mathew

		(as pr accot: here produced in Cort: Doth more plainely appeare

		for the which the said Thomas Did Assume upon himselfe

		and promise payment; But he the said Thomas Little regarding

		his promise and Assumpcon fraudulently intending to Deceive

		him the said Mathewe of the Aforesaid quantity of seaven hundred

		twenty five pounds tob: Denyeth and Still doth to pay y same

		Allthough often Demanded; The plt: saith he is Damnified

		and hath Dammadge to the vallue of one Thousand foure

		hundred  And fifty pounds of Tobacco  And

		thereupon brings his Suite &c ; / ;    ~        ~              ~
