And the said Henry for himselfe saith That the said Cornelius became
Indebted unto y said Henry the summe of Three thousand pounds
of Porke or tobacco upon Demand as by his specialty here in Courte
Intrat agt produced more plainely may appeare but the said Cornelius frau
Janr: Cort: dulently intending refuseth to pay the aforesaid summe of 3000lb: of pork
1674 or Tobacco allthough thereunto^ hath severall times bin demanded whereby
the sd: Henry is Damnified & hath Dammadge to y vallue of
Three Thousand pounds of tob: & Cost & thereupon brings his Suite ; / ;

Smith in an accon of Trespas upon the Case ; / ; ~
And the said Henry by his Attourney Edward Jones saith that the
said Robert became indebted unto the said Henry the summe of
eight hundred & seaventy pounds of tobacco & Caske but the said
Robert fraudulently intending refuseth to pay the aforesaid summe
of 870lb: of tob: & Caske although thereunto hath severall times bin
Demanded whereby the said Henry is Damnified & hath Dammadge
to y vallue of 1500lb: tob: & Caske & thereupon brings his Suite ; / ;
