14	Sommersett Ss George Day late of this County was summoned to answer

				  unto Nicholas Hudson of the sd: County in A Plea of Debt &c

		And whereupon the said Nicholas by his Attourney George Hasfurt saith

		that he the sd: George Day became Indebted unto him the sd: Nicholas in

		the Just summe or quantity of six hundred pounds of good sound

		marchantable tobacco and Caske as by A Certaine Instrument (here

		in Cort: produced) signed with the hand & Sealed with y Seale of

		him the said George Day bearing Date the 17th: Day of June 1674

		wherein the sd: George Did Assume upon himselfe and promise

		to pay or Cause to be paid to y said Nicholas his heires executors:

		or Certaine attourney the said quantity of 600lb: of good sound

		marchantable tobacco & Caske upon the 10th: day of november next

		Insueing the Date of y sd: Instrument  And for the performance

		whereof he the said George Day bindes himselfe his heires

		executors: and admrs: but he the said George Day Little regarding

		his promise and Assumpcon fraudulently intending to Deceive

		him the said Nicholas of y sd: 600lb: of tob: & Caske Denyeth & Still

		doth to pay the same allthough often thereunto required  The

		plt: saith he is Damnified and hath Dammadge to the

		vallue of one Thousand Two hundred pounds of like tobacco

		and Caske and thereupon brings his Suite &c ; / ;
