vers James Cerill appeares desiring that his decla: my
John Hilliard deft: be read saying that the deft: hath absented himselfe
in Accon of the Case from Justice the writt being returned by the
upon Accompt sherriffe n: est Invts:
The Complaint of James Cerill against John
Hillard in Accon of the Case upon Accot:
Humbly sheweth
That the said Hilliard became Indebted unto the abovesaid
Cerill the summe of eighteene hundred eighty and five
pounds of good Sound marchantable tobacco and Caske to
be paid the said Cerill at the house of mr: John Renny
where the said Cerill keepes Store for Sundry Goods
delivered the said Cerill abovesaid Hillard and his
order as by an Accompt heare brought into Court
which said some being often demanded of him the
abovesaid Hilliard he in honor: to honestly and good
Contience refuses to pay the same to the Complaynants
Damage the some of five hundred pounds of Like tobacco
All which Debt and Damadge I Crave Judgement
of the Court with Cost of Suite ; / ;
