Know All men by these presents That Daniell Curtis of
Somersett County in the Province of Maryland plantor Doth
binde himselfe his heires executors: administrators: and assignes
in the full and Just summe of ten Thousand pounds of good
sound marchantable tobacco and Caske to be paid unto Stephen
Bond or to his heires or Certaine Attorney And the said
Stephen Bond of the County aforesaid Doth binde himselfe
his heires executors: administrators: or assignes in the full
and Just summe or quantity of ten thousand pounds of
good sound marchantable tobacco and Caske to be paid unto
Daniell Curtis or to his heires or Certaine Attorney for the
true performance of which the said Daniell Curtis and
Stephen Bond have hereunto Sett their hands and fixed
their Seales as wittnesses makes manifest the 22th: day
of January Annoq Domini one thousand six hundred
seaventy one ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Whereas Daniell Curtis hath purchased of Sampson Waters the
Attorney of Hannah Armstrong relict and Sole executrix of Mathew
Armstrong of Boston in new England Marriner Deceased the one
moyety or one halfe of Two parcells of Land the one Called Armstrongs
Purchase and the other called Armstrongs Lott both Containing five
hundred acres; as by Deed of Grant under the great Seale of the
Province of Maryland bearing Date the 20th: day of June in the
XXXvith: year of the Dominion of Caecilius &c Annoq Domini
one Thousand Six hundred Sixty Seaven Doth appear ; / ;
