his order the summe of eighteene hundred pounds of
Tobacco in goods in some Convenient place in Somersett
County the next fall it being in full of A parcell of Land
bought of James Price by William Tompson in virga:
Lyeing and being in Manoakin river knowne by the name
of the Indian Neck as wittnes my hand this 9 June 1674

Edwd: Jones
Tho: Poole
Edward Jones & Thomas Poole on the behalfe of y plt: as
wittnesses being subpa: appeares in theire owne proper pSons
And the Deft: Henry Smith this day to witt on the 10th: day of
March Annoq Domini 1674 appeares in his owne proper person
and ownes his hand to the said writing mentioned being then
produced in Cort: by the plt: But saith the plt: ought not his
accon Agst: him to have by reason he hath not given him assignmt:
of the said Land mentioned in y said writing ; / ; ~ ~ ~
This Cort: orders that the Deft: Henry Smith pay
unto James Price or his order eighteene hundred
pounds of tobacco in goods Conveniently in this County
Whereupon the Deft: Henry Smith appeales to the honr:ble Justices
of the Provinciall Cort: ; / ;
And thereupon this Cort: further orders That
the proseedings here in this Cort: be Sent over to
the honr:ble Justices of the Provinciall Cort: ; / ;
