The proseedings Last Cort: being read Phillip
Berre by His Attorney Commeth and defendeth
himselfe & saith that the said John his accon agst:
him he ought not to have because the said John
had Long Since acquitted him of y said Debt wch:
he is ready to averr & prayes that his wittnesses
may be examined whereupon Wm: Turpin &
OLive the wife of Wm: ffurnis was examined upon
oath but nothing made appeare that the plt: had
Acquitted the Deft: ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
This Cort: therefore ordrs: that Phillip Berre pay unto John
Winder or his order Two hundred & twelve pounds
of tobacco with Cost of Suite other wise execucon ; / ;

gent: And did Acknowledge the said mare to be the proper
right of the said Nicholas his heires & assignes forever
& the same will warrant and Defend from all other
manner of Person of persons whatsoever ; / ;
