That when the said George was surveyor for the said
County of Sommersett the said John Imployed him To
survey one hundred and fifty Acres of Land Lying at
the head of Manoakin river, But the said George fraudulently
intending hath solld part of the said Land unto Tho: Manlove
whereby the said John is unjustly detained from his
Land notwithstanding he hath paid the said George
his ffees: As alsoe the rent of the sd: Land these severall
yeares whereby the said John is Damnified And hath
Dammadge to the vallue of Three Thousand pounds of
Tobacco & Caske and thereupon brings his suite ; / ;
And the said George Commeth And Defendeth himselfe
and sayeth That he will prove the next County Cort:
That this County Cort: Cannot trye the Titles of Land
And therefore Craves time untill y next County Cort:
Whereupon this Cort orders that A hearing
be in this Cause Depending betweene Jno:
