32 I Mathew Armstrong being weake of body but of perfect
memory Doe make this my last well and Testament as ffoll
Imprimus I bequeath my body to the Dust and my Soule to God that
gave it hoping for the Blessed resureccon of the Just unto
eternall Life And as for the estate God bestowed upon me
I Dispose of it as ffolloweth ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
ffirst I bequeath to my sonne Mathew Armstrong the summe of
sixty pounds in money to bee paid him by my wife Hannah
Armstrong at or upon the Day of his marriage And if incase
he shall enjoy his naturall Life seaven yeares after he
is married his Mother shall shall pay unto him fforty pounds
more in money. And if incase my wife recover the estate
I have in Virginia in Land and stock then She Shall pay unto
the aforesaid sonne the one halfe of what She shall recover
when he is of the age of one and twenty yeares . / ; ~ ~ ~
And all the rest of my estate houses and Lands I give unto
my wife Hannah Armstrong And make her my only and
sole executrix During her naturall Life and After her Decease
the remainder of my estate Shall belong to my sonne Mathew
Armstrong, And this I make and declare to be my last will
and testament revoking All other as wittnes my hand and Seale
Sealed and signed the nynth day of Mathew Armstrong
may one thousand six hundred seaventy and A Seale
