for the same Debt, And the said Edward refuseth to repay
back unto the said Richard the eight hundred pounds of
tobacco & Caske whereby the said Richard is Damified and
hath Dammage to the vallue of Two thousand pounds of
tobacco and Caske And thereupon brings his Suite ; /
The plt: produceth this ffollowing receipt
which is read vizt
Received of mr: Whitty eight hundred pounds
of tobacco & Caske for y use Cuthbert Potter I say recd:
by me the same some ass the order being ass the back
Side of the order received by me Edward Southrin

The Deft: pleades and saith he hath recd: none And
Cannot Say that that is his hand to the receipt
