Know All men by these presents that I James Gadd
of the County of Sommersett in the Province of Maryland
doth by these presents Constitute and appointe my well-
beloved frind John ffreeman of the County aforesaid my
true and Lawfull Attorney to aske Demand Sue and
Imprison all persons that are indebted to the above
Said James Gadd Alsoe I Doe Impowre my Atturney
to Compound reles Diritt and discharge as he Shall
think fitt as if I my Selfe had personally don itt
in wittnes hereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and
Seale this ninth day of June one thousand six hundred
