saith that by reason She had Lent the said Servant could
not have an oppertunity to bring her Sooner; After full
veiw had of the said Servant Mary Periman the Court Judges

Josias Seaward deft: The plt: and deft: being Called John
Manlove plt: appeares in person, Josias
Seaward Appeares by his Attorney Jno: Avery
The plt: Desires his Decla: may be read; vizt
Sommersett Ss Josias Seaward Late of this County was Attached to
answer unto John Manlove and Elizabeth his wife
Alias Lee in an Accon of the Case &c
And whereupon the said John Manlove and Elizabeth
his wife Alias Lee for themselves saith that he the
said Josias Did take A bill of the said Elizabeth payable
by John Vincent to the said Elizabeth for Two hundred
and Twenty pounds of tobacco, he the said Josias
promising and ingageing to pay in goods for the same
According to Markett Price To the vallue of one hundred
and Twenty pounds of Tobacco; But he the said Josias
Little regarding his promise and ingagement but ffrau
dulently intending to Deceive them the said John and
Elizabeth Denyeth and Still doth either to pay the goods
to the vallue of one hundred and seaventy pounds of
tobacco
