Phillip Parkett aged 28 years or thereabouts sworne
and examined saith that Richard Morley was A
servant unto Collo: Cuthbert Potter of Rappahanock
river in the County of Middlex and that the said
Morley had two yeares and a halfe or three years
to serve the said Potter when as his said master
Collo: Potter Did Send him over to Pocomoke with
A Cargo of goods in the yeare 1669 and further
your Deponent sayth not

made oath before mee the 18th: of

Whereas Thomas Davis of Sommersett County Taylor Standeth
ingaged upon Accot: to Phillip Wollahane of the County aforesd:
plantor in the Just summe or quantity of ffoure hundred
pounds of tobacco in Caske being for the Consideracon of A
Sute of Clothes recd: by the said Tho: Davis of the said Phillip
Know all men therefore by these presents that I Phillip
Wollahane aforesaid have Constituted ordained & appointed
And by these presents Doe Constitute ordaine appointe &
Authorize my Loving frind Allexander King To be
my true and Lawfull Attorney for me and in my
name (but to the proper use of the said Allexander King)
to aske Demand recover and receive all and every the
said summe of tobacco aforesaid of the said Thomas
Davis Granting unto my said Attorney full power and
and Lawfull
