Manlove but the said Thomas hath denyed and Still doth
to give Satisfaccon The said Robert Cattlin saith he is
Dampnified and hath Dammadge to the vallue of Two
hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco and thereupon

do pay unto the plt: Robert Cattlin or his order one hundred

Humphry Davis of the said County was attached to answer
John Tizar of the sd: County in A plea for an Assault
and Battery &c
And whereupon the said John Tizar for himselfe declares
that he the said Humphry Davis in and upon the twentieth
day of July last past in the fortieth yeare of the Dominion
of Caecilius &c Annoq Domini 1672 in the dwelling
house of Henry Smith gent scituate in Manoakin in
the said County Did make an Assault and then and
there forceably and malitiously did Strike beate and
evill entreate the said John Tizar and violently
throwing
