Martin Moore forthwith make payment of the abovesaid summe
of eleaven hundred and five pounds of tobacco and Caske to
Capta: John West with Cort: Charges als execucon ; /
The deft: pleades and saith he owes Capta:
West nothing &c.
This Cort: takeing the Same into their Consideracon Doe order
That if Capta: John West Shall make affidavid in Northampton
Cort: that the same tobacco be now his reall due and Certifie
the same to this Cort: that then the said Martin Moore pay
the said Eleaven hundred and five pounds of tobacco with
Cost of Sute to Capta: John West Als execucon ; / ;

Know All men by these presents may Concerne that
I Doe hereby Constitute ordaine and appointe my Loving
frind mr: Henry Smith my true and Lawfull Attorney
for me and in my name and to my use sue for Leavy
and recover all such Debts as may be any way due to
me in the County of Sommersett in the Province of
Maryland by bill Accompt or order of Cort: or otherwaies
ordaining my said Attorney allwaies and at all times
if need require to arrest Imprison and when he thinks
fitt in my behalfe upon receipt of payment to release
or Discharge in as full and as ample manner as
if I were there personnally present my Selfe for the
Confirmacon of the pr: misses I have herewith Sett my
hand
