mr: Henry Smith riseth from the board

quer Henry Smith The plt: and deft: being Called appeare; the plt: by his
vers attorney Henry Smith desires their declaracon may be
Martin Moore deft: read and is vizt ; / ;
Sommersett Ss:
Martin Moore late of this County was attached to answer
John West in A plea of Debt &c. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
And whereupon the said John West by his Attorney Henry Smith
saith that he the said Martin Moore standeth indebted to the said
John West in the summe of eleaven hundred and five pounds of tobacco
and Caske which appeares by order of Cort: past in Accomack wch:
mr: Henry Smith produceth here in Cort: the said Martin Moore
Denyeing the payment of the same and still doth whereupon
the said John West by his Attorney saith he is Dampnified
and hath Dammadge to the value of Two Thousand two
hundred and Ten pounds of Tobacco And Thereupon
brings his Sute &c ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Att A Cort: helld in Accomack County the 17th: of ffebruary 1669
