100 Know All men by these presents that I Mathew Price (the
wife of Jenkin Price of Somersett County in the Province
of Maryland gent:) for Divers Causes and Consideracons more
thereunto moveing have Constituted & appointed & in my
place & Stead putt And by these presents doe Constitute ap
pointe & Authorize & in my place & Stead putt my Loving
frind Edmund Beauchamp of the County & Province aforesd: gent
to be my true & Lawfull Attorney irrevocable for me & in my
name to make over & Acknowledge in any Cort: of records within
the Province of Maryland by Conveyance in other Deeds that
Shall be thought necessary unto Edward Wale of the County
& Province aforesaid planter & unto his heires executors
administrators & assignes for ever, all my right title Interest
& Claime that I have had or might have unto Two hundred &
twenty five acres of Land being part of A devident of Land
granted unto my Loving husband aforesaid by Caecilius
absolute Lord & Proprietary of this Province of Maryland
by Pattent bearing date the 4th: day of october Ao: Do: 1666
Called Newtowne of foure hundred & fifty acres of Land -
Lyeing in A river called Pocomoke on the easterne Shore as
by the said Pattent doth more fully & more playnely appeare
And what that this my foresaid Attorney doth in any further
Act or Acts thing or things requesite to be don in reclacon to
the pr:misses Shall be in as ample manner & effectually
in every respect as I my Selfe might doe the same if per-
sonnally present, Ratiefyeing allowing & Confirming all
whatsoever
