93 Know all men by these presents that George Betts of
Somersett County in the Province of Maryland plantor
And James Nichollson in the Province aforesaid plantor;
Doe Stand & are firmly bound in and oblidged to the
worpll: Stephen Horsse and the rest of the worpll: Justices
of the County aforesaid now in Commission for the
Said County of Sommersett assigned and Authorised by
Commission under the greate Seale of this Province of
Maryland; in the Summe of ten thousand pounds of good
Sound marchantable tobacco in Caske to be paid to the said
Stephen Horsse or to either of the Commissionrs: & to their
or either of their heires execuors: or assignes; To the wch:
payment well truly & faithfully to be made the Said
George Betts and James Nichollson doe binde themselves
Jointly & Severallly their or either of their heires executors:
administrators or assignes for the whole and in the whole
firmly by these presents In Wittness whereof wee the
Said George Betts & James Nichollson doe hereunto putt
our hands and Seales this third day of March in the
nine & thirtieth year of the Dominion of the Rt: hon:ble
Caecilius &c, And in the year of our Lord God one thousand
Six hundred and Seaventy ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The Condicon of this Obligacon is Such that if the above bounden
George Betts his heires executors: administrators: or assignes
doe well truly and ffaithfully pay or Cause to be paid unto
George Bossman the orphant of William Bossman late of
this County deceased the Just dues that was left unto the
Said
