Charles Hall pl^t: The pl^t: desireth Security from the def^t: of y estate of the
vers: orphants of James Barnebe late of this County deceased
Edward Jones def^t:
The Co^rt: orders that Edward Jones bring Security along
with him ag^st: the next County Co^rt: ~ ~ ~ ~

To the worp^ll: Comm^rs of Sommersett County
The humble peticon of Tho. Bloise
Humbly sheweth
That whereas yo^r: pet^r: did Lately finde some Indians near
Damned quarter who had (as appeares by evidence) killed foure
of my hoggs whome I did apprehend & carried them to the high
Sherife to be keeped there in his Custodie untill this Co^rt: therefore
yo^r: peticioner humbly Craveth that them Indians may give
Satisfaccon or be punished according to Lawe & yo^r: peticioner
as in duety bound Shall pray ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
no order past

The Same day Comm^rs: as afore
Whereas Edward Jones & Griffith Hughes appeared before
the board & Griffith Hughes doth Consent to Serve the said
Edward Jones three yeares & was beginne the first day of this
month of January A^o: D^o: 1670 his master aforesaid is Contented
with his three years Service whereupon the Co^rt: ord^rs: that the
said Griffith Hughes doe Serve three years to y S^d: Edward Jones
