upon them to nominate twelve indifferent men to make A Jury
to enquire of the Supposed trespas, vizt; Richard Whittey; Roger
Woollford; Owen Mackra; William ffurnis, Charles Hall;
John Avery; Thomas Bloyes, James Nicholson; John Rhodes;
William Jones; Lewin Dennwood; Peter Elzey, which being
don the Commrs ordered the Sherrifes Deputy Allexander King
to summon the twelve men soe nominated to appeare

his attorney Saith that whereas the said Richard Ackworth the
five & twentieth day of July in y xxxviii year of the dominion of
Caecilius &c at Manoakin in a Certaine place called the Double
purchase by force & armes did enter; and five oake timber trees
of the vallue of forty Shillings did fell take and Carry away
and other enormityes did there doe Contrary to the peace
whereupon he Saith he is Damnified and hath Losse to the
vallue of five pounds and thereupon he brings his Suite &c
