164 To all people to whome these presents Shall come I Christoper
nutter of Sommersett County in the province of Maryland
plantor and Mary his wife Sends greeting in our Lord God
everlasting Know yee that whereas John Nelson of the
County and province aforesaid plantor and Katherine
his wife by Conveyance Signed Sealed and Acknowledged
Att A Courte helld for Sommersett County bearing date
the nine and twentieth day of December A Do: 1668
Did make over allienate and Sell unto Christopher Nutter
and to his heires and assignes forever, A parcell or
Devident of Land granted unto the said John Nelson
by pattent under the great Seale of this Province
bearing date the tenth day of ffebruary in the foure
& thirtieth year of of the Dominion of the Rt: hon:ble
Caecilius Ao: Do: one thousand six hundred Sixty foure
(called Nellsons Choice) Lyeing in Manoakin beginning
at a markt oake devideing it from the Land of Edward South
thence running alongst the maine branch northeast the
bredth of one hundred & fifty poles to a market pine
& from thence running north the length of three hundred
twenty five poles, into the woods to a markt tree & from
thence westerly the bredth of one hundred & fifty poles
to a markt tree with A Line drawne South the Length (of)
three hundred twenty five poles Containing & laid out (for)
three
