year of the Dominion of the Rt: hon:ble Caecilius &c Ao: Do: 167l
before his Lopps: Justices thereunto assigned & Authorised
mr: William Stevens : mr: George Johnson
Present mr: Henry Smith : mr: Charles Ballard Commrs
Whereas Katherine Johnson Junr: (the Daughter of
mr: George Johnson of this County gent: & Katherine his
wife) appeares before the aboard Doth voluntary & freely
before the board Chuse in open Cort: her ffather mr: George
Johnson to be her Guardian ~ ~ ~ ~
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The same Day Commrs as afore
Whereas Christopher Nutter appeares before the board
with his Servant John English desiring the Cort:
to Judge of the Said Servants age Comeing in without
Indenture; After veiwe of the said Servant Jno: English
Ths Court does Judge the Said Servant to be foureteene
years of age ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The same day Commrs: as afore
Whereas Christopher Nutter appeares before the board
with John Devorex ffor whome the said Christopher
was Security for his appearance this day in a bond to
y Sherrefe he now demands his bond the Sherrife
Saith he hath it not about him but promiseth to
give it him by the first opportunity ~ ~ ~

The Banes of matrimoney were published betweene
John ffreeman & Rachell Moody alsoe betweene John
Lawes & Katherine Nellson widowe all of this County
