114 Know All men by these presents that I Thomas Meech
late of Sommersett County in the province of Maryland have
appointed ordained & Constituted And doe by these presents
appoint ordaine & Constitute my Loving friend mr: George
Johnson of Sommersett County aforesaid to be my Lawfull
Attorney, giving &, by these presents granting unto my
said Attorney full power Authority & Commission for (unto)
& in my name and on my behalfe to enter into y Cort: to
be holden for the said County of Sommersett & then & there
in open Cort: to Acknowledge A deed of Conveyance made &
Sealed by me to Allexander Jemison of the same of a parcell
of Land called Meeches hope Cont: three hundred acres to be
my Act & Deed and I doe further promise not to revoke this
my Letter of Attorney And whatsoever my said Attorney
Shall Act order in prosecucon of the power and Commission
by these presents unto him given I the said Thomas Meech
doe promise to ratiefie and Confirm In wittnes whereof
I have hereunto put my hand and seale this 18th: day of
ffebruary Anno Domini 1670 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
