POMERLEAU INVESTIGATION 421

A. I Idon't believe so, because the Attorney General has advised me
that the City investigation does not relate to the Commissioner in-
dividually, but relates to employees that are affected in the case, so
it wouldn't. I'm not going to make any judgments or decisions with
respect to anyone other than the Commissioner himself. The em-
ployees who may be involved in one way or another will have to be
judged by the City, and I think that is what they are investigating.

Q. Governor, I understand you just moved ashore. How do you find
the mansion?

A. I find it very comfortable after being on shipboard. The mansion
is not completed yet. The kitchen is not in. We're sort of catching
as catch can for the time being, but it's nice to have a bed that doesn't
move around, for a change.

Q. Governor, some of the reporters have been fascinated at Annap-
olis at the convention by the air conditioner at the mansion which
sounds very loud from the outside. I remember that you had com-
plained about the air conditioner on the yacht. Does it bother you
in the mansion?

A. Well, I think the air conditioner, the insulation hasn't been com-
pleted on it yet, and it's probably making a little more noise than it
should. I'm just glad it's there.

Q. Anything new on the Cambridge situation, Governor?

A. Nothing new. There is a continuing effort to keep the people on
the citizens' committee in touch with the people of the Second Ward,
and to keep our people in constant touch with every possible assistance
we can render in Cambridge, but there is nothing that I can report
as a new development.

Q. Governor, were you satisfied with the second half of the Colts'
game?

A. Now, I sat through that game in Mr. Rosenbloom's box, and I'll
put it this way, I was as satisfied as he was.
